I know i havnt been online the last couple days. ive had some real life issues.. but heres my plan for when i get the chance to work again here soon. my new gear system is working i just need to make a loot generator for it. then ive finally finished designing my 3 classes. meaning its just a matter of implementing (about 30 mins to do so) so my next patch will be the official release of the new loot and the beta testing of the 3 classes whixh will be done by myself jon loki and roadrage once they have been tested for balance which means us 4 will not be doing pvp with them other than with each other.. once they are done there will be some changes to the server. 1: you will start as a base class and 2: a server rename. as we will no long be a simple mordred server the name will soon be Forsaken Worlds PvP so keep an eye out!

Looking forward to the new patch. Send me a message over facebook sometime and let me know which program I need to download to view the procs from the database once you send them to me. Also when you get the chance can you fix cloth cap for mid? The procs on it are messed up bad.

I have also been permitted to make a Templar for testing purposes, and am aware that he is not for general pvp. I am autotraining parry and anti-magic atm in order to get the most spec points in final spec. My question is this...Templar is allowed to spec slash, crush and thrust, but where it says what weapons we are allowed to use, it only mentions 2h. I assume this means that we have to sub-spec the damage type we wish to use, I am level 35 atm, and plan to test zero, composite and full sub-spec and check for damage variance once I reach 50 and can get proper results from the test dummy. Will post results.

Actually the slash/crush/thrust spec lines are a bug. you shouldnt have them.

also havnt decided what other spells the templar should get. resist/silence is a bit weak. maybe a DD or a custon spell to reduce magic dmg. maybe a dex debuff acuity? any inputs will be nice

Being an anti-magic line of spells, an insta dd for interrupts would almost be necessary... silence may be resisted. Single target castable shears might be an idea (dex and/or acuity). It would be too unbalancing if they were instas. Was thinking shears for the interrupt potential, but if you don't want shears maybe spec d/q and dex debuffs. You might even consider something like banelord ml1 ability 'zone of unmana' (pbaoe shout that slows casting time within affected area). There are so many things you could do with the spells that are already in game. As for the resists, I noticed that you have 5/6 magic type resists at 20%, and then the two lower multi resists at 10%. Matter resist was missing when I tested.

On another note, I think that this class should get stoicism as one of their passive abilities. Determination RA is well and good, but even with det 5, not having stoicism will allow this class to be effectively crowd controlled out of the fight, which should not happen to a character who is made to fight magic.

so lets discuss the Reaper. they get two spelllines. Offensive(Soul Reaping) and Defensive/Supportive(Death's Gift)
for SR: insta dot-tap (lifetap dot) Grave Bomb(AoE DD based on a dead target) insta root or snare, maybe a haste spell?
DG: a rez, fear, life-transfer?

RR5: summon spirit minion possibly based on dead target. (up to debate for something different)

Root and stun would go good with them and the fear they cause.
Root on low recast , stun on long recast ( 45 seconds or longer )

Life transfer doesn't really go with reaper imo unless you got a difrent picture of grim reapers in your mind.

How about a pulse dmg with life steal on a 200 radius? dmg at lvl 50,
75 - 90 dmg 40% life returned ( against orange and higher con mobs the dmg would drop big time. )  Keep power cost around 25 so that they could not keep it up all the time.

The grave bomb / corpse explosion would be nice but you can't target dead mobs so it wouldn't work in pve.  Could you code it to refresh the CD based on getting DB on a mob or player?

Haste wouldnt be a bad idea, or Bubble.

DG -  Rez seems like a good place on this class.  
Power tap simlar to vamp? ( only useable out of combat )
Summon Shackeled soul 3 difrent versions 1 a light LT caster,  one that cast Hot and a buffer.  simlar to bd but only 1 soul at a time can be out. max level 41 ( 3 lvls lower than most pet classes )
OR
Shackle Soul - attempts to bring the soul under the control of the caster ( IE charm )  Duration 1 - 3 mins.  Not perma make them work at keeping the soul controled.

Gift from beyond - 20 min duration str / con self buff.

Gift of the Soul  - 20 min duration acu self buff.

Soul Barbs ( instead of the pulse life tap ) dmg shield 10.0 dps on hit returns 30 hp. ( dps / hp by tier - 1.5 / 3,  4.5 / 10 ,  7.5 / 20,  10 / 30 )  The heal vaule is really low compare to other defense procs but it would fire on every hit.  Yes this would make it where greens couldn't kill them, but really who dies to a green at 50?

Haunting Bellow - causes all agresive pets to flee, simlar to the ML ability, 20 second duration, 1 min recast.

Just some ideas. will post more if I think of them.

what do you mean by CD on the grave bomb? i more or less was putting it in as a PvP toy but i could change it to a custon ability that does a small nuke when he kills a player (dmg based on spec level)

Templar now has Matter resist chant as well as their silence is now 100% at all levels, and the duration changes per type, from 2-10 sec +2 respectively per form

Templar has also gained a snare.

Reapers now have AF pike a caster and Abs like a Heretic. AF may be changed to heretic values because of the high abs

Ive been thinking on reaper Dot lifetap. considered doubling dmg.. still not high dmg but will heal the reaper for aprox 300 hp and thinking of doing an aura lifetap as well or maybe soul syphoning styles.. alot of lifetap procs on styles... any inputs wud be nicei

Sounds good to me. Something I would like to see the reapers have is a style that does aoe dmg like valks "Roundhouse" and "Windmill."
